Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Rental Eligibility & Age Requirements

To rent a vehicle from JAL ALNADAA RENT A CAR, the renter must fulfill the following criteria under UAE regulations:

• Must be at least 21 years of age for standard models (25 years of age for luxury, sports, and exotic categories).
• UAE residents must possess a valid UAE Driving License (minimum 6 months to 1 year old depending on the vehicle class).
• International tourists must hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside their original national driving license, valid passport, and entry visa.

2. Online Booking & Credit Card Payments

All reservations initiated through our online checkout platform are subject to availability and verification.

• Payments must be made via valid Credit or Debit cards acceptable by our integrated secure payment gateway.
• The name on the credit/debit card used for the booking must match the name of the primary driver unless authorized explicitly under corporate accounts.
• Card fraud checks and multi-factor authentication are enforced to secure cardholders against unauthorized transactions.

3. Security Deposit & Pre-Authorization Hold

A mandatory security deposit is required for every rental vehicle to secure potential post-rental claims.

• The security deposit is processed via a "Pre-Authorization" hold on the client's credit card at the time of delivery or pickup.
• No actual funds are drawn into the company's account during pre-authorization; the balance is simply held securely by the issuing bank.
• The hold is released within 14 to 21 business days after the safe return of the vehicle, subject to verification of traffic fines, tolls (Salik), and bank processing cycles.

4. Vehicle Usage Restrictions

• Vehicles are strictly restricted to operation within the geographical boundaries of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Cross-border travel is entirely prohibited.
• Smoking, eating, or pet transport within the vehicle is prohibited. Violation will result in specialized deep-cleaning or sanitation fees.
• Off-road driving, desert driving, track racing, stunt driving, or utilizing the vehicle to tow other objects is illegal and voids all underlying comprehensive insurance.

5. Fuel Policy

All vehicles are provided with a specific fuel level and must be returned with the exact same level of fuel. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the renter will be invoiced for the missing fuel volume plus a standard administrative refueling surcharge.

6. Traffic Violations, Parking Fines & Salik Tolls

The renter assumes full financial and legal liability for all operational violations incurred during the rental tenure:

• Every single Salik (toll gate) crossway is charged at a fixed rate of AED 5 per crossing.
• Traffic fines, speeding penalties, illegal parking tickets, and impound fees are billed directly to the customer card or deducted from the security hold.
• An administrative processing fee may be added to each traffic fine handled by JAL ALNADAA RENT A CAR.

7. Mechanical Breakdown, Accidents & Claims

In the unfortunate event of an accident, damage, or mechanical issue, the renter must maintain full transparency:

• Do not move the vehicle unless instructed by law enforcement. Immediately dial 999 to contact the UAE Police and secure an official Police Report.
• No insurance claim can be initialized without an official green or red UAE Police Report. Failure to present this report holds the renter 100% financially liable for all repair expenses and vehicle downtime.

8. Late Drop-offs & Extension Rules

Vehicles must be returned on the exact date and hour specified in the rental agreement. A grace period of up to 1 hour is permitted. Beyond this, an additional full day's rental rate will apply. To extend a live rental, you must notify the office and process an advanced payment at least 24 hours prior to expiration.
